KAMPALA, December 10^th 2009, National Housing and Construction Company changed its look to a more dynamic, lively and interactive image that will engage Ugandans to use their services more. From today Ugandans will see the new orange, green and blue colours that represent the vitality and heritage of the brand that is now National Housing.

As the company rebrands, it is also celebrating 45 years in the market. National Housing has been providing relevant quality housing solutions nationwide while cementing brand loyalty in the country since 1964. Community development through affordable housing and infrastructure is what has defined the company these past 45 years.

“For National Housing, celebrating this milestone as it rebrands creates room to curb the challenges in the real estate industry while providing quality affordable and well-built housing for the general public” said Joseph Kitamirike, CEO National Housing. This undertaking is evidence to their advancement and progression in the real estate industry as well as their commitment to serve Uganda better.

Mr. Kitamirike added, “The construction industry is the fastest growing and increasingly competitive sector in Uganda and with the new National Housing brand the company is steadily creating an active, future-oriented brand that ensures development of a strong market leader. Our brand is continuously adhering to fulfilling the need for quality in Ugandan’s living standards.” 

National Housing is a Ugandan public enterprise that was established by the National Housing Corporation Act of 1964 whose job is to increase the housing stock in the country, rehabilitate the housing industry and encourage Ugandans to own homes in an organised environment.
